Hi, I'm Taylor with Midwest restoration services, the mitigation manager.
This is all damage result of water.
Started upstairs in the bathroom. The supply line broke. They were at work and it just flooded all day.
It was literally raining from the ceiling fan, the dining room light and this here.
So here's where it started in here. Supply line on the toilet broke and just kind of flooded everything outward.
So how long is this gonna take you?
Mitigation? We're pretty much complete with mitigation. Reconstruction might take about two to three months.
Very nice family. They're staying in Rockford right now at temporary residence until this is completed.
So what kind of things do you guys do to kind of help? Somebody going through this situation?
Just just being fast and responsive, trying to get out and make sure that we, we take care of the damage as quick as possible so that we don't get secondary damage.
If you could help somebody before they go through this the first time, what would you say that would prepare somebody.
Going over your policies, checking your policies? Making sure that you're covered for.
Most people have never been through a loss process before. So a lot of people are just confused to begin with.
